Welcome to arktos.se, the immaterial home of Björn Carlin. Born and raised in Sweden, I now live in Switzerland and work for Google. Some of the more (or less) fun, useful or interesting applets and midlets I've written over the years are described on this site.

My more recent projects include a multiplayer Sudoku applet, and a multiplayer Snake-like applet called WormWars (both have java-based server components, which this site unfortunately doesn't host). I have also ported a Gameboy emulator to run on mobile phones using Java (MeBoy), which turned out to a large degree to be an optimization project. A mixed bag of other applets and midlets (Java applications for mobile phones) are also available.
